Hat Sichon and more photos of Nakhom

Lets start with the photos of Nakhon

At last I made it to a beach a Hat Sichon - Hat is Thai for beach - near the city of Sichon, 65Km north of Nakhom. I arrived in Sichon by mini bus and the hopped on a motorbike taxi to the beach. The motorbike taxi was an experience. Sat on the back with my big rucksack. During the journey the rain started. Thank god the motorbike taxi took me to a hotel - recommended in the Lonely Planet - no need to hunt for a room in the rain.

Nakhom looks a bit drab, Dan - perhaps more to do with the poor weather than the place itself??

Lots of good photos, as usual.

Hope Bankok is more settled (politically) by the time you reach it. A troubled place right now.

Dan, I've just caught up on a weeks worth of your adventure - and what an week! You know I'm a nasty piece of work so I might as well say it....I SO wish I'd seen you slip in that puddle and land on your - from memory - pert little butt. Can you imagine if Princess Di had done something similar outside the Taj Mahal? The headlines the following day would have been so different.

Why are those girls diving off the bridge? Are they mad or is it a local custom? Did you have a go? Did you remember to leave your camera behind this time....he he he he he!!!!!xx
