The Wedding or What a lot of Photos!

The Ceremony – a condensed version - was held in the afternoon in the garden of a hotel in Kathamandu. Tradditionaly it is held at the Bride’s house. The groom comes to collect the bride from her house. The Ceremony is then held and at the end the couple leave for the husband’s house. In the past, it was common that this would be first time that the couple meet. As it was a joint wedding and that both Brides were from Euiope – Italy and Danemark – the ceremony was moddified for the occasion.

It was a very informal affair compared to a Christian or a Jewish Wedding. It looks like a very private affair. We the guest were observers. We were free to get close or further from the ceremony. I think the best way to get a really feel of the day is in the photos; the Brides, the Grooms, the Family, the Guests and those magnificent colours. And we did take a lot of photos. I am not kiddding , a lot of photos. So let the photos tell the story
