I am back!
It has been a while since I last posted. Unfortunately this is a quickie.
India/Nepal have been left behind and I am now travelling alone - Kia has returned to the UK. I am currently in Honk Kong on the way to Bangkok and Thailand. Spent half a day in Kowloon, just enough time to grab a couple of mugs of Starbucks Coffee, a meal and the latest Bond film - the last 2 both medium quality - but I will be back for a longer visit in about 3 months time.
I know, not a fascinating post. However I hope to remedy this in the coming week. In Thailand, I am planning to find a nice beach to sit on for a couple of weeks and catch up with what happened from Kathmandu to Delhi. From elephant travel to bus travel - at one point I thought elephant travel was the bumpiest ride i had but that was before the bus ride from Bambassa to Delhi.

Hi Dan, glad to have Kia back in one piece & trying to convince her that global warming will hit Oxford any day now...!
We are off to somewhere beginning with the letter M on Sunday (which will hopefully be warm)
Kia & I want to come & find you again in S. America. I am expecting a more travelled bohemien look by then after you have covered the far East.

yes, glad you're back Dan, on this blog at least. But I find it hard to relate to your choice of coffee establishments, I'm not a fan of Starbucks at all. Surely you could find something more authentic or original in Hong Kong? Next time you are there you could look up my old school friend Fung-Ye who I'm visiting again on my way back to NZ in January. And when you're in Dunedin I'll take you to my favourite independent coffee shops/cafes.Anyway Dan looking forward to viewing your video now.
Love Claire
Claire does have a point but maybe she doesn't know that Starbucks are paying you to mention them and that the whole trip is actually sponsored by them...
The Dunedin coffee places are very cool, I think you may be swayed from your commitment to Starbucks.
