The day before the night before the day in Chiang Mai or Colours of Bangkok

Back to the 30th November. In the evening I caught the night train to Chiang Mai. During the day then? Well I walked the streets of Bangkok. My guide was Adrian, a Pole from Australia on his way back to Europe. He, unfortunately was stuck in Thailand. Originally he had flight a couple of days before. He managed to make alternative plans and was heading towards Kuala Lumpur via Phuket. So we spent the day taking photos. Adrian, I thank you for the walking tour of the city. Hope you made it back to Europe.

We started and finished from Bangkok Central Station, where we left our backpacks,we passed through China town to Wat Phi temple via a street flower market. Then onto the Grand Palace which we did not visit - the entrance fee was high and we had only a hour before the complex would shut. Passing the throng of people paying homage at the memorial to the King Sister. Then around Khao San Road - the backpackers quarter of Bangkok, equivalent to Thamel area of Kathmandu. Then back to the train station.

Enjoy the photos.

"We sale Sushi" Fair play to them for trying to put in English.

Buildings and statues look fantastic. Will you possibly keep the photos for album purposes when you are done? A complete photo album of your trip would look amazing.

keep posting mate.
