Phnom Penh - 6-12th January

Visited Phnom Penh with Guy, Daniel, and Cecilia. We met Cecilia in our Guest House and you have met her in previous video posts.

We hired a tuk tuk for the Day and visited the Killing Fields Museum - see the previous post for the 7th January - an market

and an Orphanage - with a 50kg bag of rice and toys.

After the a couple of days, I had to sadly say good bye to Guy & Daniel - they were heading to the south west of Cambodia then Thailand - Missing you Guys.

Cecilia went off for a few days with Guy & Daniel. I took my break and enjoyed some DVDs.

Rejoined by Cecilia, we visted the Sul Tang Prison camp. The Men, Woman and Children killed at the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek where detained and tortured at this facility

The Markets again - you never can get enough markets

The Grand Palace and more temples.

and gave blood at a children hospital - Cecilia was donor n°33 & I was donor n°34 of 2009.

Dan, I LOVE you banana necklace. Dr G was saying just the other day how bad you were at accessorising so I'm please to see you prove him wrong!

Nice one to you and Cecilia for donating your blood. Do you get a mug of ultra-sweet Typhoo and a custard cream for your efforts like you do here? Or it it one of those embarrassing 'only in England' phenomena?xxx
